This Privacy Policy explains how Pocket Budget Pty Ltd ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you use Pocket Budget (the "Service"), available at https://pocketbudget.example.

This policy applies to our website and to our mobile applications, including any versions distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

On iOS, we will only track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, or access your device's advertising identifier for that purpose, if you allow it through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
You can delete your account and associated data from within the app settings, or by contacting us at privacy@pocketbudget.example. Some information may be retained where we are legally required to keep it.

Where personal information is transferred to a country that has not been found to provide an adequate level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified. In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in "Information we collect" above (identifiers, contact details, account information, payment and transaction data, usage data, device and technical data, content you provide, diagnostics), for the business purposes described in "How we use your information".

Sale and sharing. We use advertising and attribution partners (Meta Pixel & SDK) that may collect identifiers, device data and usage data. Under some state laws this may be considered "selling" or "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You have the right to opt out by using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our website, through cookie settings, or by emailing privacy@pocketbudget.example. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out request. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
Sensitive information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
This section applies if you are in Australia. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Anonymity. Where it is practical, you can deal with us without identifying yourself or by using a pseudonym, for example when asking a general question. Some features, such as an account, need your personal information to work.
Access and correction. You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you and to correct it. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days, and explain our reasons if we decline.
